What Challenges Do Latinos Face in the Dangerous Fishing Industry? – Although there is little statistical information on Latino participation in the multi-billion dollar fishing industry in the United States, new research reveals some insights. Latinos have a strong presence in fishing in at least four states, including California. Most are employees of fishing companies, but some Latinos own their own boats. How did they achieve this?
