Flotilla carrying humanitarian aid advances toward the Gaza Strip; Mexican journalist recounts being there

The Sumud Global Flotilla, carrying humanitarian aid for Gaza, set sail from the port of Barcelona. It is a civilian mission made up of more than 300 people from 44 countries, who hopefully began the journey to bring aid to the people of Gaza and thus break the blockade.

Ernesto Ledesma, a Mexican journalist and director of Rompeviento TV, is among the crew and explains what supplies they are taking to support the people of Palestine.
