Demonstrations continue after LA raids

Juan Jose Gutierrez, Attorney and Executive Director of Vamos Unidos USA, and National Coordinator, Full Rights for Immigrants Coalition, commented that our people were demonstrating peacefully, but there were provocations.

He recalled that they marched to the courthouse to support David Huerta of SEIU, who was assaulted, arrested and released on Monday.

He assures that the community has been victimized by a provocation and discrimination by the Trump administration.

According to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights of Los Angeles (CHIRLA), more than 300 migrants have been detained in California alone.
