Cuba has been under US economic sanctions for more than 60 years. The blockade may now get worse, after US Sen. Marco Rubio, a champion of the embargo, is about to become Secretary of State under Donald Trump. Political analysts comment about this as well as the meaning of Cuba joining this week the BRICS alliance.
