Cabalgata held to promote the Latino vote
The organization Poder Latinx recently held a horseback ride through the streets of rural towns in California’s Central Valley, to promote voting among the Latino community, the riders seek to encourage the community to make their voice heard through the vote.
Norberto Gonzalez, California state director for Poder Latinx, talks about how they saw the mood among Latinos before the elections.
He comments that at the event there were other organizations that supported Latinos to remember the importance of voting, but also to learn how to vote.
