Arrest of Prominent Sanctuary Movement Leader Sparks Protests

Jeanette Vizguerra, a prominent activist in the sanctuary movement, was detained by immigration agents while taking a break from her work. Vizguerra’s detention, imprisoned in a private immigration detention center in Colorado, sparked protests in the region and in the country. Prominent politicians in that state have joined in the condemnations. Jesús Sánchez Melean reports from the city of Aurora.
