These new voters are arriving to this election cycle amid reports that many are undecided about the presidential race and many are moving politically to the right. Voter Hurdles. As more Republican-led states move to require proof of citizenship for voter registration, a new study shows that for millions of US citizens of voting age it is not easy to come up with documents to prove their citizenship. In the meantime, in Texas, conservatives are leading an effort to end countywide voting. How are these political moves impacting Latino voters?
