Ruben Tapia

Rubén Tapia is the news and features producer and editor of Edición Semanaria. He has over 25 years of experience with Radio Bilingüe and is the longtime host and producer of the radio magazine, Enfoque Latino, on KPFK Los Angeles. He won a New America Media award for his coverage of a vendor who was put into deportation proceedings after taking pictures of a government building in Los Angeles. Based in Los Angeles, Ruben is also a musician in the Nuevo Canto tradition.
