Martin Vargas

Martin Vargas has worked as a producer for Radio Bilingue since 2015. He came to his position after graduating from CSU Fresno in Broadcast Journalism and Spanish. As a student, he interned for Cocola Broadcasting, producing a television show that connected nonprofit organizations to a Latino audience. When he was 15, Martin moved from Guanajuato, Mexico to Orange Cove, a farming community in California. Having worked in the fields with his family, supporting his college education picking grapes, it is important to him that his work serves Latino farm workers and new immigrants.
