Maripaz Covarrubias

Maripaz was born in Jalisco, Mexico and moved to California in the late 70s. She became an avid Radio Bilingüe listener while living in Corcoran, a small town in the San Joaquin Valley. When she heard an announcement that Radio Bilingüe was accepting applications for volunteer programmers, she decided to apply. After volunteering for many years, Maripaz took a part-time programmer position and has since worked on almost all of Radio Bilingüe’s music programs. She is a great music lover and enjoys singing Mariachi.
