María de Jesús (Chuya) Gómez

Chuya grew up in the Fresno area and remembers listening to Radio Bilingüe as a child with her family. After graduating from CSU Fresno, she took a news assistant position with Radio Bilingüe. Since 2006, she has worked behind the scenes in the news department, ensuring that guests are scheduled and deadlines are met. When one calls Radio Bilingüe, Chuya is likely the voice they will hear on the other end. Her children have grown up listening to Radio Bilingüe and visiting her at the Fresno station. On the weekends, Chuya often travels throughout California to support her kids in their athletic pursuits.
