Ana Jaimez Martínez

Ana Jaimez Martinez came to Radio Bilingüe as a volunteer programmer in 2018 and took a staff programmer position in 2021. On her show, Ritmos Del Pueblo, she plays a mix of norteña, mariachi and ranchera music. Ana loves that music has the power to transport people to another place or time. “When we go through hardship,” she says, “we listen to music and we forget our troubles.” The first thing Ana does each morning, before putting on the coffee, is turn on the radio.
