The voices of the marches

THURSDAY, OCTOBER 30
PROGRAM #10943 11:00 AM PT
The voices of the marches.
Around seven million protesters recently took to the streets to denounce the U.S. president’s abuse of power as part of the nationwide “No Kings” day, one of the largest protest movements in the nation’s history. As in 2,700 other cities, thousands gathered in Fresno. What drove them to march? What were their demands? What do they hope these demonstrations will achieve? Radio Bilingüe gathered dozens of voices from the crowd.
Guests: Chelis Lopez, Co-Host, Radio Bilingüe, San Francisco, CA; Samuel Orozco, Co-Host/News Director, Radio Bilingüe, Fresno, CA; Ruben Tapia, Reporter/Producer, Radio Bilingüe, Los Angeles, today from Santa Barbara, CA; Claudia Boyd-Barrett, Southern California Correspondent, KFF Health News, Ventura, CA.
