After Los Angeles Fire, Daycares Struggle to Recover – Due to the devastating Eaton fire in Los Angeles, more than a hundred child care providers not only lost their homes, but also their daycare centers, where their neighbors left their children to go to work. Hoping to recover their livelihoods, the daycare owners requested support from Governor Gavin Newsom, who responded by issuing an executive order.
