New House Republican Leaders Sharpen “Anti-Latino” Agenda

With the arrival of the new Republican majority in the U.S. House of Representatives, the Hispanic caucus of congressional Democrats warn that an “anti-Latino” agenda is on the horizon. According to Latino lawmakers, that agenda includes cutting social programs to finance raising the debt ceiling and tightening immigration and asylum policies.
