| Pulso de la Tarde, a 30 minute news program, is broadcast in the United States Monday to Thursday. To receive programs from Satélite Radio Bilingüe, a station must be connected to the public radio system and the station must operate a satellite terminal capable of receiving signals from the proper transponder on the Galaxy 4R satellites in the C band and Galaxy 11 in the Ku band. The educational satellite network of Mexico, Edusat, makes the transmission possible via a signal to the United States. Satélite Radio Bilingüe is a distribution service provided by Radio Bilingüe, a public radio provider for the Latin Community in the United States. With offices in Fresno and San Francisco, CA, Radio Bilingüe's non-profit radio network offers news, information and cultural programming to over a hundred affiliates in the United States, Puerto Rico, Mexico and Argentina. Funds for Radio Bilingue's news programs is made possible by the Corporation for Public Broadcasting and the Californian Endowment. |
