Obama Wins Last Debate on Foreign Policy; Close Race for Ballot Initiatives; Valley Fever: A Silent Epidemic.

OBAMA WINS LAST DEBATE ON FOREIGN POLICY – President Barack Obama won the third and final debate before November 6th against his Republican rival Mitt Romney, according to polls. The discussion of foreign policy centered around the war on terrorism and relationships with the Middle East, with the question being who was better prepared to be commander in chief of the nation. Marco Vinicio González prepared this report.

CLOSE RACE FOR BALLOT INITIATIVES - In California, the race for president is taken for granted, since the state is largely Democrat. The closest battle is actually around some positions in Congress, and mostly some state propositions, laws that are given to voters to decide. Our correspondent in Los Angeles, Rubén Tapia, has followed some of the most controversial propositions and has this story.

VALLEY FEVER: A SILENT EPIDEMIC - Valley Fever is an infection caused by a fungus present in dirt that, if breathed in, can cause serious suffering, weakening and even death. Thousands of people are diagnosed every year with the illness, but many more have it without knowing. Some experts say the disease is growing so much that it is becoming an epidemic, but too often it is not reported or diagnosed, even in areas where it is common, such as Kern County in California’s Central Valley. Our reporter Farida Jhabvala Romero has more details.
