COMPLAINTS OF DISCRIMINATION ARISE UNDER ARIZONA LAW – Police in Arizona began to apply the clause of Arizona’s immigration law that forces agents to verify the immigration status of anyone they suspect is in the country without documents. Only days after the law went into effect, immigrant rights groups are beginning to report discrimination by the police to the city government of Phoenix.
