Republicans Sweep Elections: Where Were Latinos? - Democrats suffered a harsh political setback this November 4th. Republicans increased their numbers in the House of Representatives, snatched away control of the Senate, and swept governors’ seats. Some analysts say it is time for both parties to take charge of matters crucial to Latinos if they want their vote in the 2016 presidential elections. José López Zamorano reports from the nation’s capital.

Democrats Keep Control of California – The Republican victory didn’t reach California, where Democrats kept strong hold of the governor’s office, executive positions, and the legislature. California voters also approved a measure that could be a trailblazer in the country: the new law reduces sentences for certain crimes of drug possession.
