Blue Cross Accused of Misleading Consumers – In the first year of the Affordable Care Act going into effect, the giant health insurance company Anthem Blue Cross has been accused of misleading hundreds of thousands of clients in California with false publicity. The company is facing a class-action lawsuit. A truck driver from Bakersfield, California says he was one of the people who ran up against an unpleasant surprise when he had to use his health insurance. Our reporter Rubén Tapia has the story.

Creating Theater for Community – How can theater – a source of entertainment and fun – also be used to heal, bring justice, educate, and mobilize the public? Throughout his artistic career, Californian actor and educator Luis Santiago, or “Xago”, Juarez has set out to explore this question. In his work with the legendary Teatro Campesino, in the public schools, in street theater, one of his goals has been to mobilize the audience to social action using comedy or drama, and to make the stage a place for the stories of the whole community.
