Robotics Club Inspires Latinos to Study Science - Latinos have long been under represented in math, science, and technology careers. Though Latino college students choose these majors in numbers relatively comparable to white students, in the end, they end up graduating with a degree in these fields at a much lower rate. In Phoenix, Arizona, a robotics club is changing this trend. The club has become a hotbed for Latino students, many of them low-income and some undocumented, to go on to graduate from college with degrees in technology, math, and science. Valeria Fernández reports. Guest Worker Visa Swindles Rampant in Mexico –  Thousands of Mexicans who hope to work temporarily in the United States are swindled every year by fraudulent recruiters, according to reports by migrant-rights organizations. The groups also say that despite their reports, there has not been an effective response from either Mexico or U.S. officials.
