New California Laws.
Californians have two more weeks to enroll in health coverage through Covered California. If they don’t have health insurance, state residents will have to pay fines, though low- and middle-income residents have new help to pay for their premiums. Also, low-income young undocumented adults can now sign up for Medi-Cal, first state in the nation to extend health coverage to this group of immigrants. These and other news are discussed in this edition.
