Gaza Catastrophe.

As Israel intensifies bombardment and prepares for a ground invasion, hundreds of thousands in Gaza become displaced, doctors warn about an unprecedented “humanitarian catastrophe” and the UN calls for a “humanitarian truce.” What’s the situation on the ground in Gaza and other Palestinian areas? What’s ahead in this conflict? What role is the Biden administration playing? A contributing journalist reports from Cisjordania.

Guests: Témoris Grecko, Mexican Journalist and Correspondent in the West Bank, Ciudad de México, MX; Ernesto Ledesma, Director, Rompeviento TV, Correspondent in the West Bank, Ciudad de México, MX.

Día de los Muertos: End-of-Life Issues. As we approach Día de los Muertos, an expert discusses dying well and other issues faced by people at the end of life. In California, patients with disabilities and doctors are urging a court to dismiss a case challenging California’s Medical-Aid-in-Dying law. California is one of ten states that have passed medical aid in dying laws, a choice for terminally ill adults that is supported by a wide majority of people in the state.

Guest: Patricia González Portillo, National Latino Communications Manager, Compassion and Choices, Los Angeles, CA.
