Puerto Rico: The Great Debate.

Supporters of changing Puerto Rico’s political status introduced the Puerto Rico Status Act in the US Senate. The legislation, a compromise between opposing sides in the issue, would let voters choose among statehood, independence and independence with free association with the US. US Salvadoran Seeks Vice Presidency in Home Country. This is an interview with Werner Marroquin, a US resident who is vying to become the nation’s vice president in El Salvador, his native country. Werner is an opposition candidate with Farabundo Martí National Liberation Front, a former guerrilla movement. The electoral campaign for the presidency of El Salvador includes the current president, Nayib Bukele, who was allowed to seek re-election even though the Constitution prohibits it.
