A Mexican doctor in food science and technology distinguished with Mexico’s National Science Prize believes that tortillas made with corn, beans, amaranth and chia hold the secret to help Mexicans prevent cancer and chronic diseases. He is being invited to share his findings. Also, two months after Hurricane Otis devastated Acapulco and other communities, people continue struggling to recover. How are governmental agencies and non-governmental groups supporting local people clean up and rebuild after the disaster?
