Mexico Edition.

Two years after the labor strike of agricultural workers in Baja California, San Quintin, day laborers managed to form a national union and now are negotiating with Mexican authorities the integration of a collective labor agreement, with minimum wage of 300 pesos and affiliation to social security, informed its leaders, who are also preparing the first national meeting of day laborers with representatives of seven states of the country. In addition, the director of the Collective Against Torture and Impunity, speaks of the torture applied by security agents to 50 civilians accused of kidnapping and of belonging to the organized crime. According to the information, the judicial authority is not investigating the alleged abuses of power by these police officers. Martha Elena Ramírez, hosts this broadcast of the program Voz Pública, from Mexico City.
