Warning that immigrants in California have been struggling to put food on the table because of rising food prices and the cutting of resources after the end of the COVID-19 public health emergency, state legislators are proposing to expand eligibility for state funded nutrition benefits to include the undocumented. A coauthor of the Food for All Act bill joins this program.
