The US House of Representatives passed two hard-line immigration bills. One would increase criminal penalties against immigrants who re-enter without authorization the US after being deported, and the other one would punish cities that may have sanctuary policies, and force them to honor immigration detainers. Also, advocates strongly condemn ICE plans to target undocumented parents of unaccompanied refugee children. Also, state officials from ten states, led by Texas, urged the Trump administration to terminate DACA and, if the administration doesn’t, they will include DACA in a lawsuit.
