Second Wave of Coronavirus?

As states reopened their economies, a number of them report record-high new cases of coronavirus. The number of cases in the US is two million and growing by the day. Texas, Arizona, Florida and California are seen alarming rises in hospitalizations linked to reopenings. Latinos continue being among the hardest hit. In Arizona, the state reopened its economy quickly and aggressively, prohibiting local governments like Tucson and Phoenix from imposing their own, more restrictive rules. In California, an increasing number of hospitalizations are reported in Kings and Imperial counties, the latter having the relatively highest state rate of infections and an influx of infected U.S. citizen patients from Mexico. Journalists give an account about these developments. Additionally, an eminent expert gives insights on the news and reviews states’ plans and efforts to massively test and track Covid-19 cases. He also talks about promising developments in the science of vaccines and drugs to treat the disease.
