Immigration Edition.
This week, the House of Representatives is expected to vote on the Dream and Promise Act (HR 6) and the Farm Work Modernization Act (HR 1603), and other immigration bills that could receive expedited process. A bigger bill, the US Citizenship Act of 2021 to legalize undocumented immigrants is also awaiting congressional action. What would it take to build bipartisan support? Can Congressional Democrats push a plan on their own?
