Senate Republicans passed via fast track a controversial tax bill that would bring massive tax cuts for corporations and the wealthy, and historic spending cuts to popular social programs like Medicare and Medicaid. A lingering issue among conservative lawmakers is the trillion-dollar hole the plan would open in the budget. What would be the impact on the bottom line of working and middle-class families?
