Supreme Court Hears DACA Case Amid Divided Opinions

The nine Supreme Court judges appeared to be divided in their questions upon hearing arguments for and against the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA) program. The final ruling is expected sometime next spring or summer. Meanwhile, and in anticipation of a ruling that would give Trump the authority to cancel DACA, advocates are urging beneficiaries to renew their temporary work and residence permits.
