National Strike in Defense of Democracy Continues in Guatemala

A national strike to defend democracy continues to gather strength in Guatemala. People there are demanding the resignation of the country’s attorney general and two officials who insist they won’t recognize the presidential election. Demonstrators are standing firm and demanding that outgoing Guatemalan President Alejandro Giammattei fire the officials, a measure they believe would bring calm to the impoverished Central American country. Ruben Tapia has this report.
