ESL Students Excel at Rural California School - 

A California elementary school is drawing attention because more than half of its English as a Second Language learners read and write well by the time they reach the third grade. That’s four times higher than the rate for English language learners in the rest of the state. EdSource reporter Zaidee Stavely visited the outstanding elementary school, where most of the students are low-income Latinos.
