In Texas, Groups Demand Suspension of Harsh Immigration Measures

In response to the tightening of immigration measures in the border state of Texas, a broad coalition of community organizations held a day of resistance in the city of El Paso. The groups announced that for a little over three weeks they will hold events to denounce SB4, which grants immigration authority to state police, and the immediate suspension of Operation Lone Star, which has militarized the border. Rubén Tapia prepared this report with voices from the start of the day.
