Immigrants Ask Pope Francis to Intercede for Reform - Tens of thousands of faithful Catholics flooded the streets of Washington, D.C. to celebrate the visit of Pope Francis, who has demonstrated concern for economic inequality and sympathy for the journey of immigrants. Thousands of Latino immigrants from California, Texas, Nevada and other states traveled to the capital to witness the Pope’s visit and ask him to advocate for immigration reform. José López Zamorano reports from Washington, D.C.

Health Fairs Fill a Void in Rural California Valley - California’s Coachella Valley is a place of economic contrasts. Next to large mansions and golf courses are the precariously perched homes of some of the poorest and sickest residents of the state. There are so many uninsured people and so many health problems here that health fairs are organized regularly here, where volunteer doctors offer free healthcare.  Our correspondent Rubén Tapia went to one of these fairs at a school in the rural community of Thermal.
