Radio Bilingüe Airs Extensive Broadcast from the Floor of the National Conventions
Radio Bilingüe’s Hacia el Voto 2008 multi-media news team continues its extensive coverage of the elections with a live broadcast and webcast of the Democratic National Convention in Denver, CO, from August 25 through 28, and the Republican National Convention in St. Paul, MN, from September 1 through 4.

Radio Bilingüe to air presidential nomination acceptance speeches in Spanish
Radio Bilingüe’s Hacia el Voto 2008 multi-media news team is preparing an extensive line-up of live coverage at the upcoming national presidential nominating conventions Aug. 25-28 and Sept. 1-4 including special two-hour live broadcasts of each nominee’s acceptance speech interpreted into Spanish on the final evening of each convention.

Hacia el Voto 2008, A Live Coverage of the National Presidential Conventions.
Radio Bilingüe’s Línea Abierta goes on the road again to bring the developments of the Democratic and Republican Conventions to Spanish-speaking audiences. Opinion polls show Latino voters are highly concerned about the failing economy, the war in Iraq, health care access, education and immigration reform.

Central Valley Families Join the Campaign For Working Families in California and Nation
Community leaders and community members from 6 Central Valley organizations will hold a town hall meeting in Fresno, Saturday, April 26, as part of Equal Voice for America’s Families, a national campaign to develop a family issues platform. The town hall will begin at 1:00 pm at the Cornerstone Church Hall, 1525 N. Fulton St., in downtown Fresno. The Fresno town hall is one of six held throughout northern California.
